| Dick Bennett |
Richard L. Bennett, President of Janus Technology Group Inc.,
has been active in the industrial combustion industry since 1965.
Prior to founding Janus, he served 10 years as Director of Technical
Services and Director of Engineering of Eclipse Combustion Division.
and before that, Vice President of Furnace Group Inc. and Laboratory
Manager for The North American Mfg. Co. He has long been active
as an industry spokesperson and trainer, making numerous presentations
on combustion, process heating, energy conservation and the environment
to trade associations and seminars. He is a regular lecturer at
industrial training schools sponsored by the Industrial Heating
Equipment Association and the Gas Technology Institute and has
had numerous articles published in trade magazines. His column, "Energy
Notes", appears regularly in Process Heating magazine.
Bennett
earned his B. S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute. He is a member of ASM International, the Air and Waste
Management Association, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers,
the National Fire Protection Association and the American Gas Association's
Industrial and Commercial Hall of Flame. He is certified specialist
for the U.
S. Department of Energy's PHAST (Process Heating Assessment & Survey
Tool)
